Switch from Skedda to SpotBooker: import your booking history
Keep your past and upcoming bookings. Your account administrator imports the Skedda bookings export directly from the SpotBooker settings, without going through our team.
- 1
Export your bookings from Skedda
Download the CSV export of your Skedda bookings. SpotBooker recognizes its columns (Scheduled start, End, Title, Holder email, Holder organization, Space, Created) and its US date format.
- 2
Create your resources in SpotBooker
The import does not create spaces: add your rooms, desks or equipment in SpotBooker first, ideally with the same names as in Skedda.
- 3
Import, match, preview
In Settings › Import bookings, choose the Skedda format. Each Skedda space is matched automatically with the resource of the same name (case-insensitive); you fix the matching if needed, pick the status (confirmed or pending) and check the preview before importing.
- 4
Roll back if needed
Every import appears in the history with the number of bookings created and the rows in error. One click cancels it: all the bookings it created are removed.
Good to know: Imported bookings keep the name, email and organization from the file; they are not linked to a user account and no account is created. Rows without a valid email, or whose space is not matched to a resource, are skipped and listed. Your fixed time-slot rules apply, but overlaps between bookings are not checked during the import.
